A varied and relatively moderate hike along the seaside promenade, through forests and the cultivated landscape.

The section starts at the rest area along the highway E6 and then goes along the boardwalk, past the old bath-houses and to the seaside resort of Lyckorna, the Mussel-bar, past Villa Sjötorp and on to the campsite at Lyckorna.

After the campsite, the trail leaves the shoreline and goes inland on smaller gravel roads. After a couple of kilometers the stage passes the lake Långevattnet. Here the trail takes the south-west direction and continues through the open cultivation landscape, past meadows, fields and old farms.

After a few more kilometers the trail passes Grötån - the border between Uddevalla and Stenungsund. Here the trail becomes a little more hilly and some steeper passages take the hiker up to a larger paved road. The road to Kolhättan goes for about 1 km along a busy motorway before taking off on a smaller gravel road and further down towards Kolhättan's ferry location where the stage ends.

Here, a more regular bus service runs towards Stenungsund.

From Kolhättan's ferry location, the Kuststigen-trail continues by car-ferry over to Svanesund on Orust.
